2+2 != Maths

I’ve been a teacher for as long as I can remember.  Way back in High School I can remember the feeling of satisfaction I got when I helped my mates with their school work and they finally “got it”.

I’ve not always been employed as a teacher.  I spent time in industry teaching people how to use computers better, teaching businesses how to use technology better, teaching farmers how to irrigate better and I like to think I’ve even taught punters how to wager better.  But I’m back in the classroom again.

I’m very much an IT and Math junkie.  I love probability and stats and algebra too.  And I love my technology.  I put my love of both into practice every day with an avid following of the sport of kings, and pass my working hours trying to enthuse my students.

I think a teacher’s credo should be similar to that of a doctor….   Primum non nocere
